If you want your students to learn more about how learning works, or if you need to introduce the idea of psychology, this would be a good Webquest to have them do.

The PowerPoint activity lets the students learn independently, while having them present the information they found lets the students learn new facts, as well as build their confidence in speaking in front of a group.

This Webquest shouldn't take very long. There is only three different things the students are researching.

If you wanted to watch the introduction video as a class instead of individually, you could.

The only materials needed for this Webquest is access to a computer that allows the students to create a PowerPoint.

Standards

P.20 Explain how evolved tendencies influence behavior.

P.42 Describe the development of infant perceptual abilities, intelligence, memory,
thinking ability, communication and language.

P.38 Discuss cognitive, moral and social development theories.
