Rocks

This lesson can help your students learn more about rocks on there own. I have included a fun video and an interactive link within this lesson to help engage students. The last step is to complete a fun project that also reflects what they have learned! 

Standards

SC.4.E.6.1: Identify the three categories of rocks: igneous, (formed from molten rock); sedimentary (pieces of other rocks and fossilized organisms); and metamorphic (formed from heat and pressure).
