A Greater me!

Focus: This WebQuest allows students to explore websites with quizzes that help determine characteristics of their personalities, reflect on who they friends are, and help guide their career choices based upon their own personalities.   Objectives: The objective of this WebQuest is to allow students to look closely at their personal goals, values, and aspects of their personalities. Students will examine how their personalities affect the interpersonal relationships in their lives and guide career choices. Credits: Each of the links provides an external quiz resource that is free for public use. Thank you to the quiz creators and those who maintain the websites for the benefit of others.

Standards

Community service for teens is often a requirement for graduating high school in Chicago and it's a great way for students to build their resumes and skill sets. Volunteer work for high school students can be a life-changing experience, one that allows teens to expand their horizons and foster meaningful relationships.

Credits

Community Youth Services has long relied on community support to assist in keeping youth programs strong and vital. It is because of the community’s commitment and steadfast support that we are able to offer services and help high-risk young people become productive, responsible adults.

For young adults and adolescence love and belonging is crucially important. Social isolation can be devastating to youths and whether good, bad, or violent they need to be socially involved. Youths must understand that choosing friendships in important to their health and well-being. Friendships can make you stronger or they can be your weakness.
