I used a simple math concept that is usually a review for high school students. I gave the students a choice of two equations, one equation is easier than the other. I also noted for the students to choose the equation that challenges them! I feel that my lesson shows cultural relevance because I asked for the students to explain each step of PEMDAS in another language and develop a power point. Also giving students the choice of choosing an equation and creating their own mnemonic.
