* My name is Ramona EL ashkar, I'm 25 years old.

I studied pure chemistry at the Lebanese University. I teach Phy / ch at the shouf national college for 4 years.

Teaching chemistry is my career and my hobby because it related to our real life. Moreover, my teaching style is attractive because I simplify the topic as much as possible. 
After my degree, I'm working this year on my teaching diploma in education.

My students can also email me their questions when they need to know the answers on [email protected]


*My name is Marwa El Achkar, I'm 28 years old. I studied Chemistry at Lebanese University. I'm working on my teaching diploma.

As Dewey said  “Education is learning by doing.”(1902). I really do believe that teaching is what suits me best for, it’s one of the few jobs that fulfill both sides of my working ambition. Not only does it help me learn something new each day, but it gives me the chance to transfer this knowledge to someone else, and that alone is a huge self-esteem recognition.  I believe that if teaching called upon some activities, science could only be taught through experiment activities. This is the importance of this webquest; students can work independently on their task.


*My name is Nivine Bou Nasser Eddine, I'm 25 years old.

I studied educational management in addition to social work and i'm working on my teaching diploma major.

As an English Teacher, I believe that my most important duty is to make my students love English. I should support my students' psychological development and educate them as free-thinking minds. I think, it is significant to create productive environment to let students be creative.

my aim of the webquest is :- make my students love the information s that I'm presenting
- provide supportive environment to let my students produce logical solution when they come across a problem.
- use different teaching techniques to address all kinds of learners.
- be creative while I am preparing my lessons for better understanding and help my students to develop their abilities.
- introduce the real life to my students and help them to find their own path.

The aim of having a webquest :

The webquest  is a means of providing the students with background information that is intended to be a springboard for them to begin the process of inquiry. One way is to present a simulation that leads students to develop a product/service, evaluate a time period, give advice on a given issue, manage a business situation, engage in a debate, or tackle one of life's challenges.

The Reasons for creating a webquest is to : 

1. To begin a unit as an anticipatory set (as per Madeline Hunter);

2. To conclude a unit as a summation;

3. As a collaborative activity in which students create a product (fostering cooperative learning);

4. To teach students how to be independent thinkers since most of the problems encountered in a Web Quest are real-world problems;

5. To increase competency in the use of technology; and

6. As a motivational techniques to keep students on task. However, if it proves to be an inefficient method of learning for your particular students (for whatever reasons), don't use it!
