There's a Reason for the Seasons

Teacher Page

The intention of this WebQuest is to give the student knowledge of why there are 4 seasons. It also should teach the student about the Earth's axis and why the Northern and Southern Hemispheres have opposite seasons. Through learning about the seasons the student should also gain knowledge about the effects of the seasons on the environment and their daily lives.

The task is to make 4 posters. I think that this should be an in classroom project and span over a week during the time allotted for science.

You will need art supplies and 11x17 poster board. If you do not want to supply these you may want to give them a list of supplies before you begin the project.  You should supply the supplies for the worksheet; globes, flashlights, and sticker dots.
