Creating a Budget

This WebQuest is designed for high school level students in a business math or economics class. Students don't need in class time to work collaboratively, since they have access to google docs, but if all project time is planned outside of class I would recommend at least a week to complete. The WebQuest could easily be split into parts (living expenses documented in google docs, budget created in excel, reflection paper) and given separate due dates to aid in time management.

Modeling Standards
Modeling is best interpreted not as a collection of isolated topics but rather in relation to other standards. Making mathematical models is a Standard for Mathematical Practice.
