This lesson is aimed at educating students on the different branches of the federal government and how they play an important role in the day-to-day running of the country. This activity will take one week.

Student need to be able to search the web but be careful in their searches.
Students will make a tree from the Preamble of the Constitution and create leaves from the responsibilities and jobs of the three branches of the government. Teachers should create a classroom wiki and place research information for students to use and allow them to be creative in their work.  Teachers are guides only and allow the students to do the work.
This project allows students to evaluate each other as well as their own work.
