Poetry Writing Portfolio

I am teaching a class where students write poems and analyze poems. This webquest was created to connect students with resources for both types of writing - my primary goal was to keep students focused during "writing" days and to give students a structured format for their independent work. Students will submit a draft of one completed task per our eight day cycle. This will give them plenty of time to receive teacher feedback and it will give me plenty of creative work to draw from for student poetry workshops. My hope is that this independent work will give me plenty of classtime that I can devote to writing exercises and prompts, to lectures and discussions on writing, to explications of poems and to reading poetry aloud or alone.
