This webquest is designed to teach students to work with fractions, decimals and percentages. They will apply it to the real world by creating a party with a budget. This should take about 7-10 days to fully complete. 

Standards

Texas Standards 111.26-4(G) generate equivalent forms of fractions, decimals, and percents using real-world problems,
including problems that involve money; and
5(C) use equivalent fractions, decimals, and percents to show equal parts of the same whole.

b. Plan and manage activities to develop a solution or complete a project
c. Collect and analyze data to identify solutions and/or make informed decisions
d. Use multiple processes and diverse perspectives to explore alternative solutions
