The History of Jazz

This is a 7th grade Dodea curriculum standard

 

The focus of this project is for students to understand the history of jazz and how important it is in America's music scene.

The objective for this project is to allow the students the ability to be creative, and learn about the history, the music, and the famous singers.

Resources used for this project can be from websites on the internet and any other reliable printed magazine or newspaper article.

 

This project can be done individually or in a small group.
