This web quest is designed to be completed in roughly 2 or 3 weeks depending on computer/Internet and the panel availability.

Students can work in groups of two or individually. They should also have an understanding of most mathematical concepts upon starting this web quest. The web quest can also be used as an end of the year project for a particular math course to show how the concepts learned are used in daily life.

This assignment is designed to have students understand how such math concepts are used outside of the classroom as well as improve their communication skills, if working with a partner. This is a great project to teach your students time management, research skills, problem solving, thinking outside of the box, and, possibly, using different technology in creating their presentation.
