I spent four weeks observing Ms. Jones in her English 9, English 10, and Public Speaking classes at Bessemer City High. I taught several lessons to the Public Speaking class which included tips on how to become an effective speaker. Also, for her English 9 and English 10 classes, I taught several lessons as well. Some of them included personal pronouns, antecedents, and how to recognize reflexive and intensive pronouns.
The next four weeks I observed Mrs. Richardson in her English 12 and Contemporary Literature classes. I was able to teach lessons in subject/verb agreement in her English 12 class, and lessons in Realism literature in the Contemporary Literature class.
