This Web Quest is used as a reading guide activity for 2nd grade students. In this Web Quest students will read Amazing Grace by Mary Hoffman, and engage in learning and critical thinking activities to build on 2nd grade reading standards. In this Web quest students are talented and motivated journalist who writes for the Future Star�s in the Making Magazine. Students have been sent on an assignment to watch a play of a brave and outstanding young lady named Grace. Grace wants to play the role of Peter Pan but two barriers come in the way, firstly, she is a girl and secondly she is black. But nothing can stop her from doing what she wants and she becomes the Peter Pan. This story can be an inspiring story for the ones who have enough enthusiasm to do something they like and yet not feeling confident with themselves.
