Before using the webquest:- expose students to a variety of books about animals
- explore animals from more than just one habitat
This webquest is a two week study. Students are expected to explore various animals and their characteristics, habitats, and needs. Using books, print sources, and websites, this unit is meant to engage students in a group learning experience. Students do not need to have any background knowledge on the subject, however, it is suggested that you briefly introduce the topic through books or videos beforehand.
Please go through each section of this webquest in order as seen in the toolbar to the left of the page. The steps from page to page are in sequential order and would be difficult to follow if you do not follow it correctly. The links provided will take you to a different website in order to explore the information with your students. As you click on the websites, please look at them in detail. Students need to know about each animal type. Most importantly, enjoy this webquest. We hope that is makes it easier for you to study animals in your classroom! |
