Teachers can use this webquest to give 1st grade students opportunity to interact and do activities that involve them having to measure objects online and on worksheets. These activities should be done after you have introduced the material and students have some background knowledge. This should be done before they measure objects with standard units, but can also be done again if students are having trouble with standard units of measurement as a review. The teacher can decide how long students will have to complete the webquest, but I would suggest giving them time over a couple of days to complete it.
