Better Vision - looking at Landscape Paintings throughout History

This webquest was designed for students in grades 8th through 12th
Prior knowledge: Students need to have 2 main prior knowledge: one in art and the other in computer.
1) Students should have some basic knowledge in plastic art and art history - knowing about famous artists, what is a landscape painting and being familiar with basic techniques in plastic art.
2) Students should have a general knowledge of how to do basic research on the internet as well as how to use basic features of Microsoft Word. Students should also have a general idea of how to distinguish high quality pictures from lower quality images that are not good for printed materials.
Domains:
All 4 domains are reflected in this project: students are expected to interact effectively in English (social interaction); to access information in English and Art (access to information); to appreciate culture and language (appreciation of literature, culture and language) and to present their information and ideas in an organized manner (presentation).
Goals:
The goals of the activity were:
1. Becoming familiar with landscape paintings, famous artists and different art styles and techniques.
2. Group work - collaborating and working in groups.
3. Preparing an exhibition.
