I created this webquest for my 3rd grade students who have already shown mastery of estimation and addition skills through a pre-testing process. 

This webquest meet the following skills for 3rd graders in Missouri:

1.  Estimate and justify the results of addition and subtraction of whole numbers.

2.  Apply and describe the strategy used to compute up to a 3-digit addition or subtraction problem.

3.  Add and subtract money values.

This webquest also meets the following ISTE NETS for students:

1.  Creativity & Innovations:  Students demonstrate creative thinking, construct knowledge, and develop innovative products and processes using technology.

2.Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, and Decision Making:  Students use critical thinking skills to plan and conduct research, manage products, solve problems, and make informed decisions using appropritate digital tools and resources.

3.  Digital Citizenship:  Students understand human, cultural, and scoietal issues related to technology and practice legal and ethical behavior.

4.  Technology Operations and Concepts:  Students demonstrate a sound understanding of technology concepts, systems, and operations.
