Fast Food Challenge

I developed this Webquest for my 9th grade Health classes. I really want them to understand their nutritional needs and work to meet those needs. I have a lot of students that eat fast food daily so I wanted them to be able to make more educated choices at their favorite fast food restraunts. This webquest meets several of the ISTE standards and state Health standards whicht I have listed below. The complete standards can be found in the resources below.

ISTE Standards met:

Standard 3: Students apply digital tools to gather, evaluate, and use information

Standard 4: Students use critical thinking skills to plan and conduct research, manage projects, solve problems, and make informed decisions using appropriate digital tools and resources.

Standard 6: Students demonstrate a sound understanding of technology concepts, systems, and operations.

Missouri State Standards:

Objective D1- Use a variety of resources to analyze the nutritional content of foods and determine wise food choices

Objective D2- Expain the relationship beween food intake and exercise in weight management
