Focus: The purpose of this Webquest is to help inculcate an attitude of gratitude in students for what they are blessed with; no matter how little or great these are. This is done in response to the study of The Silver Sword in which the Balicki children undergo great difficulties because of World War 2. Despite their many hardships, they struggle to survive.
