This webquest is designed to teach the
basics of algebra to students at form 4 level. It is generally found that when
students move to senior forms they face a lot of difficulties in algebra and it
becomes essential that the basics of algebra is mastered properly at the grass
root level.

The webquest aims to build the foundation
of algebra by familiarizing them with algebra jargons and helping them to find
like terms, unlike terms and simplifying algebraic polynomials.

 

Teachers need to look for innovative ways
of teaching and the webquest is one such initiative.

Through the webquest we can motivate our
students to learn and understand. This webquest can be used as learning tool
during a double class. Students can be divided in groups depending on the
availability of computers in the school.
