International Women's Hall of Fame

The target learners in this quest may be as diverse as the quest itself.  Children as young as 9  may complete the task.  It is also appropriate for adult ESL learners. 

Throughout the process of the quest, learners use semi-guided autonomous learning to increase their computer literacy (through web navigation, word processing, etc), they build language skills (through vocabulary building, grammar practice and attention to writing), and they become more knowledgeable about a neglected area of history (unrecognized great female figures of history).  Throughout the process the learners will also hopefully make their own new discoveries about themselves, the nature of learning, and the role of women in history.
