The Civil Rights Movement By: K. Crowder

You will work in groups of four for this project. The roles will include Editor, Secretary, Checker and Spokesperson. You may consider rotating roles for the various tasks.  

Task One:
Your group will research the Civil Rights Movement using a list of prompting questions that can be found under the �Process� tab. This list is intended to help guide your research but you can always add more questions to your research as you see fit.

Task Two:
Using the information from task one, your group will need to select three candidates for admission into the Civil Rights Movement Hall of Fame. Once your group agrees on the three inductees, you will need to complete a profile for each of them. Your profile should be completed in Power Point (one slide per person) and include information that will help the committee make a decision. Be creative in picking your inductees. You don�t want to pick the same people other groups are picking.

Task Three:
Your final task is to create a newsletter from that time period. You will use your information in task one to create five news articles about people and events from the Civil Rights Movement. You will also include a timeline of the Civil Rights Movement.
