Your task for this assignment is to choose a scene from Romeo and Juliet and create a modern day version of the scene. You can use any kind of modern day slang, however, you do have to respect school guidelines. This means no vulgarity whatsoever, if you choose to include these kinds of gestures in your assignment you will receive a zero and detention. Objective: Students will understand content of Shakespeare's The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet and be able to translate meanings into modern day text.
