You Are A Knight of the Round Table

Task #1  The Arthurian Legend really begins with myth of The Sword in the Stone.  What does the myth of The Sword in the Stone tell us? 

Task #2  I have told you that you are members of The Knights of the Round Table.  What is this table and why is it so important?  Why was it round instead of square or rectangular? 

Task #3  Knights wore special armour (armor) to protect them during battles with mighty dragons and enemies.  Find the answer to the following questions!  What is mail, how long did it take to make and how heavy was it?  How long did it take to put on a suit of armor? 

Task #4 This task will send you on a journey to discover information about Sir Lancelot.  Who was he and why was he important to the Legend of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table?

Task #5  Two more important people in the Legend of King Arthur are Sir Galahad and Queen Guinevere.  Click on Sir Galahad�s name and be sent to find out what his important discovery was. Also tell me what Galahad has to do with the siege perilous.  Find out what her role in the Legend is.

Task #6  King Arthur had special help in defeating his enemies because of his advanced weapon.  Explain what this weapon was, where it came from, the name of the weapon, and the magical powers that surrounded it.

Task #7  King Arthur was betrayed (let down) by Sir Mordred.  Write in your Quest Log what he did to betray the King and what happened to Mordred .

Task #8  Unfortunately no man is immortal and we all must come to our end sometime.  What happened to King Arthur at the end of his tale?

Task #9  Your final task may be your most important yet.  You will be first going back to a previous website to find information about chivalry!  I want you to describe what chivalry was and some examples of chivalry here.
