Boston Tea Party: The Liberty Gazette

        You and your four classmates are reporters during the time of the Boston Tea Pasrty in Boston Massachusetts. Each individual will be reporting on a different angle of the story.

Roles:
          1. Colonists' View Reporter: This reporter will research the view of the colonists in the Boston Tea Party. How did the colonists' feel about what they had done and what drove them to it? What were the repercussions of their actions?         

        2. British View Reporter: This reporter will research the view of the British in the Boston Tea Party. What were the feelings of the British about the colonists' act and what did they do to relaliate?        

        3. Economic Change Reporter: This reporter will research the effect of the economy by the close of the Boston Harbor. How was the colonists and the British effected by this act? Were their any long term ramifications?        

          4. Government Taxes Reporter: This reporter will research the taxes and acts that lead up to and were put in place as a result of the Boston Tea Party. What role did the colonists' and the British Parliment each play in this event?     

          5. Geography/ Triangle and Trade Routes Reporter: This reporter will research the geography of the Boston Harbor and the Triangle Trade Routes and how that effected the colonists and the Bristish. What were the advantages of the trade routes to the colonists and the British?
