All About Computer Safety

Students will gain knowledge and understanding on the importance of Internet safety. They will do this in a varitey of different ways that will also allow them to use different skills. Conducting an interview with parents and older students allows students to practice their communication skills. Reviewing the SAFE websites leads students to think critically and choose important information that will be used in their presentation to the younger students. Viewing the video link will open students to new ideas and lead them in a better understanding. Students may also want to memorize facts from the video to include in their presentation. Students will use PowerPoint to create this presentation. As students teach and prepare this presentation, they will develop teamwork and leadership skills.
