Business Plan Part 1

Step 1: Individually read through the Business Plan Part I Webquest

Step 2: Decide as a group which sections each member or members will be responsible for completing. Complete the workplan and put a copy in your own binder AND the Venture Plan Binder. Hand 1 copy to the teacher.

Step 3: Start working and ensure you record your individual progress in your Venture Plan Journal

Step 4: Start a Venture Binder. Include the following sections.
Company Name
Company Description
Product
Market Research
Target Market
SWOT Analysis
Product Distribution

Step 5: Start a folder on the H://Drive in your CTS Business 10 Folder called Business Venture Plan.
Make a folder for each of these sections inside of that folder. (Keeping your files organized is part of being a successful business person. If you�re not organized potential investors will �pass� on your venture)

You are laying the ground work for a successful business venture in this part of the planning process.  Take the time to think about your venture and analyze your market.   Be sure you understand who the targeted end consumer is. Be creative and resourceful! That is the entrepreneurial spirit.
