At the end of the lesson, students are expected to:

Cognitive:

     1. identify the major difference between vertebrates and invertebrates
     2. determine the distinct characteristics of each subgroup specified under
         vertebrates and invertebrates
     3. give examples for every subgroup specified under the vertebrates and
         the invertebrates
     4. compare and contrast each subgroup, both in the vertebrates and the
         invertebrates, from one another

Psychomotor:

     5. create a diorama that shows the different kinds of animals, both
         vertebrates and invertebrates, in their natural habitats

Affective:

     6. write a short creative output showing the importance and care for animals
