Have you wondered why cactus plants live only in the desert? Why lions live in flat grassy areas? All plants and animals have different needs that help them survive where they live. This why there are different habitats. Each habitat meets the plants and animals needs. Can you imagine a seal living in the desert, or an elephant living in the cold, frozen tundra? In this webquest you will explore habitats and learn about the plants and animals that live in those habitats. While exploring you and your partner will complete fact sheets. You will use the fact sheet as a guide to help you create a special art project.
