How Good is Great?

The first thing you will do along with your group members is pick a sport that you would like to investigate.  You will be finding the top ten in the field you choose and look at one aspect of that sport.  It might be time ran in a race, points earned in a game, or largest fish caught in a tournament.  You will record your data in a chart and find the measures of central tendency.  Then you will take your information and create a graph.  The class will construct a Power Point presentation on all the statistics found in your research.  Finally, each group will present their findings with the rest of the class.  In sports, numbers help measure greatness.
