Modern Influences in Early Learning

You will be researching the contributions of influential theories, events, and beliefs of Pestalozzi, Froebel, Montessori, Dewey, Piaget, Vygotsky, Maslow, and Gardner.  You will read the summaries of each person and follow the links provided to explore the modern influences of each individual.  After you have researched the history and made connections to classrooms of today, you will begin to write your personal philosophy for education.
