Electricity production in Czech Republic

Your work will be accomplished in ENGLISH - not only this will make you practice as well as improve your English, you will also learn how to search for information, combine them together and create conclusions. This is very essential for your future life - searching for information in digital world is considered to be everyday process so you better learn how to be good at it.  

Your final result will be done in a PowerPoint presentation - 10 slides + list of sources is the minimum - about different ways of producing electrical energy in Czech republic. For each way, add it's positives and negative aspects as well as list of the most important power plants and their brief introduction.

However, this project is not going to be about simple copy and paste of facts and statistics. I am also interested in your opinions on the subject itself! That is why you are also supposed to write minimum of 150 words about one of these questions.

Are nuclear power plants safe and should there be more of them in Czech Republic? Why so?
Fossil fuel power stations which burn coal are the main source of production in Czech republic. For how long can Czech republic keep it this way? Are there enough coal supplies for the future?

Compare the electricity production in Czech Republic to other country of your choice. Can you explain these differences?
