You are a postpartum nurse following up with a G4 P1 mother who is 2 weeks postpartum. She is tearful and states "I feel guilty for loving this child because I miscarried 3 before her. I feel like I never got the chance to love them. She would probably be better off without me." What do you think this patient is experiencing? What are some nursing interventions you could do for her?
