Inuit Sculpture

Your specific task is to search for information regarding the Inuit people. You will want to learn about their culture, their lives, and most specifically their art. You will write a summary of information obtained from appropriate internet sources. In your summary you will need to answer the following questions:

1) What are some of their unique customs?

2) What sort of homes do they live in?

3) What do they hunt and eat?

4) What is common with their art, specifically their sculptures?

5) How do they work to create their sculptures?

6) What are their sculptures made from?

7) What is an "Inukshuk?"

After answering these questions and elaborating on them further, your summary should be one page, typed, double spaced, in length. You will then begin to design and create your own Inuit sculpture.
