Civil Rights: 100 Years in the Making

When you are finished with this WebQuest, you will have enough information to write a report that will:

  • identify the catalyst (person or thing that precipitates an event) of the Civil Rights Movement
  • analyze if civil disobedience is the most effective means to achieve social change
  • evaluate the ideas of the 1960's and their relevance today
To do this you will visit several websites and hear and read first-hand accounts of the people who actually participated in the movement.
