Have you ever read a Mother Goose nursery rhyme or laughed at a book by Dr. Seuss?  Many of these poems and books by Dr. Seuss were created by rhyming words.  Would you like to know how this was done?  Now is your chance!  This activity will teach you more about rhyming and how to create your very own poems!

This activity will get your brain thinking of ideas and words that will make up your poem. By the end of this activity you will have come up with your very own poem, and  will understand how a poem is created. 

So put on your thinking caps boys and girls!  Get ready to rhyme!
