A ecosystem is different from a habitat because, a habitat is a place where organisms live and can find everything they need to survive. A ecosystem is a community of organisms and the environment in which they live in. A community consists of all  the populations that live and interact in an area.

Communities are organized by having all of the populations that live and interact in the same area.
