  • Objectives:
    >Students will engage in oral and written exchanges, including providing and obtaining information, expressing feelings and preferences, and exchanging ideas and opinions.
    >Students will present information, concepts and ideas on a variety of topics to listeners and readers.
    >Students will use the language at the advanced proficiency level to demonstrate an understanding of the product (what people do) and how they are related to the perspectives (How People perceive things) of the cultures studied.
    >Students will use resources (including technology) in the language and cultures being studied at the advance proficiency level to gain access to information.
    >Students will use the language at the advance proficiency level to demonstrate an understanding of the influence of one language and culture to another.

     

     

    Cooperative Learning
    >First students will be divided in groups, and then they will be assigned a specific country that they will have to work on.  There will be specific information that students must go and look for.

     

    >They will gather information, then they will work on an essay about the information of the country they have to work with, then they will go into groups to create a presentation. This is individual work!! 1st draft.

     

    Students will do presentations. They will be able to choose to work on a Power Point or any other Mode presentation or with a Poster Board.

     

    This project will count 4 grades. Research and gathering information + the essay are individual grades. The final product which will be the presentation will be a group grade. There will be an informal assessment that will be graded through observation when students work in groups.
