Below are two links to improve your running style and a "how to" on training for a distance run.

Please read both articles and be able to answer questions to show your knowledge of the topics. Between the two of these articles you should be able to make minor improvements to your running form and also "self-train" yourself for a 5K.

Questions to think about....

1. What is a great way to decrease tension before running?

  • A: Thinking of holding an imaginary potato chip without breaking it.
  • B: Shaking your whole body to losen up.
  • C: Running around in circles.
  • D: Ignore your tension.

2. What is an important rule to maintain good form?

  • A: To not think at all.
  • B: Think too much during each stride.
  • C: Listen to your body.
  • D; Just run with a steady flow.
