Ancient Greece

You will be assigned a partner to work with to gather and publish information on five key areas of ancient Greece. You will need to publish five web pages on your web site covering the following five topics:

1.  The physical features of ancient Greece (such as the sea and mountainous landscape) and how they influenced the civilisation that developed there.
2. Roles of key groups in Athenian and Spartan society, including the influence of law and religion.
3. The significant beliefs, values and practices of the ancient Greeks, with a particular emphasis on ONE of the following areas: everyday life, warfare, or death and funerary customs.
4. Contacts and conflicts within and/or with other societies, resulting in developments such as the expansion of trade, colonisation and war.
5. The role of a significant individual in ancient Greek history.
