Poverty and Stratification
Task
You will be working with a group of 3 additional classmates to work through the sequences in this Webquest. You will read numerous articles and facts on poverty that will reveal some history of poverty, formal and informal definitions and one of the goals is for you to internalize and evaluate the information that you read in order to effectively take an informed and comprehensive stance on the issue. In addition to reading facts about poverty, you will be asked to draw your own conclusions from what you read and come up with some questions and inferences.
The questions that I provide are intended to help you remember and determine specific pieces and information on poverty. Please be sure to answer each question throughly. The group does NOT need to come to a consensus on questions that may be opinion/inference based.
Each student will need to submit their individual papers that answer the provided questions, you may or may not have the same answers. It is important that you work with your group to discuss ideas and thoughts. Be sure to use proper APA citations and references for your work.
