American Literature of the Twentieth Century

 Our job is to reflect on American literature in the twentieth century and determine how historical context shaped the literature of the times.  This activity is designed to accurately connect literature in America with the historical and social issues. We must go on a literary and informational text quest. You will use information from this quest to accurately design a "Made in America: A Path to Author's Persepctive" Glogster poster. Once you have completed your journey through the movements of American literature in the twentieth century showcased in this webcast, you will begin design on your Glogster poster showcasing the author of your choice.  This quest is designed to provide you with vital information concerning American literature, and the historical and social context in which it was written. You will use, analyze, and connect this information on a graphic organizer as you explore your chosen American author's perspective.
