NFL Probability Web Quest

You will have two days to complete your task.  Make sure you manage your time wisely.

1.)  Pick your NFL team out of a hat.

2.)    Watch the probability video from Khan Academy to review how to find probability and answer the review questions based on the clip.

3.)    Research your team�s record so far for 2012.

a.)    Find your team�s total winning record

b.)    Find your team�s home winning record.

c.)    Find your team�s away winning record.

4.)    Find the remaining schedule for your NFL team for the rest of the regular season.

5.)    Research your team�s remaining opponents� records.

a.)    Find each opponent�s total winning record.

b.)    Find each opponent�s home winning record.

c.)    Find each opponent�s away winning record.

6.)    Based on your research, find the probability of your team winning each of its remaining games.

7.)    Make a PowerPoint to present your NFL team�s chances of winning their remaining games of the regular season.  Support every dicision that you make based on the probabilities you found for each game.  

8.)    The final slide of your PowerPoint should have your NFL team�s projected record based on your research.

9.)    Present your findings to the other NFL�s statisticians in class.
