Each group will be assigned a country or region of the world: Australia, Canada, United States, United Kingdom, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Asia

Preliminary Research
Each member will research one university from the country or region. Write a short paragraph explaining what you found culturally interesting about the school and why your group should select it for further research.

Webquest
For this activity, students can work outside their group with students who have the same research topics (All students who work on the athletic section can work together). Each member will be responsible for one section of the paper.  There are five sections: academic life, student community, athletics, events and traditions, campus living. After selecting your research school and topic, complete the webquest.

Research Paper
Your group will work collaboratively to write an expository essay in which you present your findings.  Using the information from your webquest, write 2-3 paragraphs about your topic.  Be sure to focus on cultural differences international students will encounter!

Group Presentation
Your group will create a booth for the college fair, where you will present your findings.  Your presentation must include a visual aide.

Personal Statement
For this individual assignment, you will choose one of the prompts offered by the school you researched and write your college entrance essay.
