What Is Your Favorite Genre?

You have just landed a job as a literary scout trying to find new tallent for Random Fiction Publishing House. To explore the field, you must familiarize yourself with the various sub-genres within fiction, and read about authors and the books they write. Your first assignment on the job is to create a Prezi or PowerPoint presentation for a promotional campaign of an author who has written a book in your favorite genre. To accomplish this task you will complete the following:

• complete a response journal from your readings
• include a list of  the authors and book titles in your favorite genre(s)
• read a book from the genre of your choice and write a book talk based on this book
• create a Prezi or PowerPoint presentation about an author and a novel

* You will be given class time to work on the computers for this project.
