After reading a background essay and several articles on the impact of technology on society you will be grouped in 3s to list some positive and negative effects of technology on society, which will prepare you to watching the videos showing examples of impact and expanding the lists you have. Then you will choose a technology and prepare a PowerPoint presentation in which you will discuss its benefits and drawbacks.

You will make oral presentations of your slides. Your oral presentations will be evaluated according to the rubric supplied, while you will evaluate your peers' group performance. The scores will be combined to make an overall grade of max. 32
