Your Future is Now...Can You Afford It?

You will choose one of six cystal balls to reveal your career and salary. With this information, you will spend the next five classes calculating what your monthly salary will be. You will also find answers to the following:
     1.  What is your salary after taxes are taken out?
     2.  What is your monthly budget for responsibilities regarding housing, vehicle, and other expenses.
     3. Choice of housing - Will you rent an apartment or buy a house?
     4. Choice of vehicle - What vehicle will you buy, or will you take public transportation?
     5.  What will you use your allowance for regarding extra expenses?

Your project: After completing the research and providing answers to the questions listed, you will prepare a speech for the class. Your speech must include one visual such as a powerpoint or poster displaying the results of your assignment. You may dress according to your assigned career choice for your presentation. Dressing up will result in extra credit. See rubric for further grading requirements.
