Description: The American Indian Industrial Boarding Schools were one more strategy used by the United States Federal Government to rid itself of what it referred to as "the Indian problem." This webquest will help students learn the purpose for and the objective of the American Indian Industrial Boarding Schools. This history will also provide students with an opportunity to think critically about the history of the Americas and write a brief position paper on whether or not they agree that one man's destiny has to necessarily be another man's destruction.
