1.The teacher will introduce the layers of the rainforest topis by presenting a picture of each layer.
2. Then write each layer on the board and ask students what they see in the picture for the layer and write what they say on the board.
3. After the students have become familiar with the four layers introduce the "Layers of the rainforest" song.
4.The teacher will say the first vesre "There are four layers in the rainforest. 4 LAYERS!" then students will repeat / echo while doing the action pertaining to that verse.
5. Repeat step 4 for each verse in song.
6. Sing the song with students and act out the movements together.
